More Rigorous Interventions (MRI)

MRI Essentials are required for schools that do not meet Comprehensive School Improvement (CSI) exit criteria after three years. Schools designated as MRI will receive intensified levels of support, guidance, and technical assistance from the Nevada Department of Education (NDE), the Local Education Agency (LEA), and/or an evidence-based provider (EBP). All MRI schools must review and revise School Performance Plans (SPPs) to show MRI Essential implementation action steps. All MRI schools must submit SPP status checks with evidence of MRI Essential implementation progress.
